Veterans Aid and Attendance for Assisted Living
Through the VA Aid and Attendance program, veterans may be eligible to receive up to $23,388 of tax free income per year. Veterans can use these benefits for assisted living, nursing home expenses, and home health care.
A surviving spouse of a veteran may be eligible to receive up to $12,672 of tax free income per year.
